Famous for his fabulously outlandish and opulent interiors – one of our favourites being Camper’s Tokyo outpost – Spanish wonderkid Jaime Hayón has started to make some seriously big waves in the world of product design of late and, having wowed us with his collaborations for London-based Sé at last year’s London Design Festival, he’s giving us some serious bathroom envy with luxury Italian brand Bisazza’s debut bathroom collection.
Launched at this year’s Frankfurt ISH, Bisazza Bagno’s The Hayon Collection “recalls the glamour of the 1930s with a Scandinavian touch and feminine shapes” – and decidedly glamourous and elegant it is too, with Hayón’s trademark touches of retro-brass/gold, whimsical shapes and lines and a charming, stripped back elegance all underlining the artist/designer’s undeniably colossal talents…
