Our favourite Japanese designers, Nendo, have just finished the understated yet mesmerising interiors for Puma House Tokyo, a multi-purpose media and events space for the brand, located in the city’s Aoyama design district. The brand’s Japanese press room occupies this elegantly stark space that will also be used for exhibitions, events, launches and other such media events, and an astonishingly designed space is is. Vine-like pseudo-staircases that act as display stands wind up and down exposed concrete columns, whilst rich woods and black fixtures complement the sparse warehouse aesthetic – Nendo’s knowingly quirky take on minimalism is as evident as always.
