Munich-born, Berlin-based; Sarah Illenberger is a visual artist whose three-dimensional illustrations are in high demand. Having created spellbinding commissions for the likes of Wallpaper*, Nike and the New York Times, Illenberger turns the mundane into the magnificent with her often humorous work that transforms everyday objects into enthralling, expressive pieces.
Her solo show – Good Weather – is currently showing at Berlin’s brilliant Gestalten Space; and the gallery-cum-bookstore will also be selling an exclusive international pre-release of Sarah Illenberger, the artist’s first monograph published, naturally, by Gestalten.
