One of the most invigoratingly creative group shows we saw at this year’s Milan Design Week came courtesy of the young folk at ECAL, the University of Art and Design Lausanne, Switzerland. Too Cool For School saw the students of Industrial and Product Design, Photography, Graphic Design and Media & Interaction Design courses at the university producing works that put some of the big names on show to shame. The highlight surely had to be Joseph Gallix’s pickle skull (in collaboration with Hugo Reitzel)…
