The ever-brilliant Stolenspace Gallery, located at Brick Lane’s Old Truman Brewery complex, is now a member of the quite brilliant Arts Council initiative, Own Art. Doing pretty much what it says on the tin, Own Art allows you to do just that, with 0% APR loans from £100 to £2,000 to help you get on the art collector’s ladder. As the East London gallery – whose artists typically come from street art or graphic design backgrounds – opens up its collection to the Own Art initiative, they’re celebrating the only way they know how: throwing up an exhibition, of course.
There’s splendid works from artists like Mysterious Al, Charles Krafft and Evan Hecox; but some of the highlights of the show come courtesy of We Heart favourites, Kai & Sunny. Their new print Wild Flower features, and thanks to the generous disposition of the talented duo – we’re giving you a real chance to Own Art, as they’re giving away one of these prints (a limited run of 100) to one lucky We Heart winner.
