For me, hipster is a derogatory term, so when the folks responsible for a new project were described as “two rising stars of the Berlin hipster scene” I’ll admit my heart rather sank a little. Happily, hipsters or not, what has transpired is a great idea, well done. The people in question are lifestyle blog I Heart Berlin‘s editor Frank Schroder, and design and retail firm Front Row Society. Frank has been out and about with his camera, shooting some unconventional images which have subsequently been manipulated by FRS and made into some pretty handsome scarves.
The kaleidoscopic images on the limited edition, 100% modal material scarves are great fun, and at two metres in length, they aren’t limited to being worn around the neck, as demonstrated by the fetching model in our pictures. They come in at a shade under 80 quid – not being a scarf consumer I can’t tell you if that’s good value or not, but one of those pounds goes to a good cause. *Christmas present klaxon*
