Part art and design journal, part travel guide, wholly splendid – the fourth annual issue of OKOLO magazine is a visual banquet of cultural wanderlust. With five members of its team embarking upon the lush and inspirational coastline of Liguria – north-western Italy – for a week of exploring hidden delights, the folk at OKOLO have produced a beautiful insight into the region’s art, architecture, lifestyle and design.
From ceramics and furniture, through food and local residents (including Ferrari’s Borgio Verezzi home) – OKOLO Liguria is one of precious few guides that get under the skin of their subject, delivering true hidden gems and packing plenty of aesthetic punch. It’s just a pity these publications only come around once a year.
