Have you noticed how everyone suddenly seems to be an amateur photographer? Smartphone cameras are getting better all the time, even giving small compact cameras a run for their money, but that brilliant landscape captured on your summer holiday usually only makes it onto Facebook or your computer desktop as a wallpaper. Shame. How about having it blown up to fill a whole wall of your house?
Photowall does just that, creating wall murals, and large-scale prints, of customer submitted pictures. The Swedish firm also provides images if yours are a bit crap, and now a group of pro illustrators has created a series of murals for Photowall, set to music to boot. Playlists by Agent Bauer boasts the talents of the creative agency’s Martin Bergström, Maja Sten, Cecilia Carlstedt, Clara Aldén and Graham Samuels, who between them have come up with a brilliantly diverse selection of designs inspired by a piece of music. From a lovely traditional repeating pattern to eye-absorbing abstracts, experience each offering with the added dimension of the songs that inspired them, via a Spotify playlist (tune in at the bottom of this page) to be enjoyed while you contemplate the visuals.
