He was born and raised in Buenos Aires, she hails from Louisiana with an upbringing in Tokyo, they both live and work in Barcelona, and now the globetrotting artists Zosen and Mina Hamada have set up their studio at B&B Gallery in Sheffield for INSIDE/OUTSIDE – a site-specific installation and exhibition of their collaborative murals, canvases and mixed media artwork. Visitors to the gallery can expect a cacophony of colourful characters, quirky squiggles, disembodied heads, layered patterns, faces both cute and monstrous, a folky spiritual representation of nature, sculptures made of old toys – it’s like an explosion in an ideas factory, all united by a high-energy delivery. To celebrate the duo’s residency, B&B Gallery is offering a limited number of prints for sale available exclusively at the show, so head north and get amongst it before the closing date of 26 April.
