No one loves wandering around a gallery more than us, so it’s thrilling to hear that the BLOOOM – the converging art show is back again this year. A bit like the biggest gallery you’ve ever been to, with a club atmosphere buzzing in the background, BLOOOM is a convergence fair organised within the larger ART.FAIR | Fair for modern and contemporary art, where the best emerging artists in the fields of visual and performing arts merge – that includes design, music, fashion, urban art, advertising, video and architecture all side by side at one mind-boggling event. And you could be among them. BLOOOM Award by WARSTEINER has announced that participant applications for the 2014 show are now being accepted – last year well over 1,000 artists from 55 countries sent in their entries in the hope of being selected by the jury. With photographer Olaf Heine and curator and author Robert Kaltenhäuser two great art scene characters join the jury of the international art competition.
The top ten finalists’ work are going to be presented at BLOOOM – the converging show in front of 36,000 visitors. The winner of BLOOOM Award by WARSTEINER also wins a a one year long mentorship program to benefit from his mentor’s network and experience, a trip to Art Basel Miami Beach and a creative premium of €1,500 for future projects
You can download the application form, as well as more information about the rules of submission, from the BLOOOM Award by WARSTEINER organisers here. So what are you waiting for? Get involved!
