As the name suggest, Barrafina 2 on Adelaide Street (the south side of Covent Garden) is the follow up restaurant to the hugely successful Frith Street (Soho) forebear. Spanish tapas packed with the flavours of the Mediterranean is what the fuss is all about, and Barrafina 2 hasn’t strayed from a winning formula, inviting design studio AMA back to work on the aesthetics after its great work on the original. The venue stands out from the crowd immediately with its curved glass turret façade. Hop up on one of the 29 tomato-red stools amid the opulent marble of the bar, which curves with the building, while you watch the culinary theatre take place.
