KK Outlet is kicking off 2015 with an exhibition of work from Jay Cover, Nicolas Burrows and William Edmonds, aka art collective Nous Vous. The Flim Flam Flum show shows the group at its prolific best, drawing on studio projects from the last six months across a varied range of disciplines including illustration, print design, animation and set design.
The friends have been creating together since 2007, and have worked commercially with Nike, the New York Times and Vanity Fair among many others. Their residency and show A Watery Line from the summer of last year in Leeds is represented at the Hoxton Square gallery exhibition, which is fit to bursting with new drawings, objects, visual research, ephemera, products, sounds and prints. Individually the lads are busy bees too, with Jay recently publishing a book called Flat, Nicolas working on a collection of collages and paintings, and William developing his Somewow ceramics range. The exhibition runs until 31 January when there’ll be a launch for an accompanying book with food, drink and live performance.
