At the vanguard of the hipster revolution in the East End, Bistrotheque still cuts the mustard 10 years later. Carmody Groarke is the studio behind the memorable interior, which features a massive open plan first floor with dining area, rectangular bar and kitchen existing in perfect, whitewashed harmony. Walk-ins can eat at the bar, which is a good option at busy times. There’s also the option to rent the downstairs Private Dining Room for functions and large parties of publicity-shy diners.
