The world is full of creative talent, but not all of that talent gets the audience it deserves. If you’ve done something special in the arts, and feel like it merits wider exposure, then we might just have the perfect competition for you. Entries are now open for the 2015 BLOOOM Award by WARSTEINER, which has the power to propel an artist forward in a way that few others can.
Here’s the deal: the sixth annual BLOOOM Award by WARSTEINER is open to international entrants over 18 years of age, with no upper limit. Art collectives and groups can also apply. Submissions can take many forms — art, design, urban art, film, you name it — and a jury panel will whittle down the field onto shortlists and final prizewinners. The top 10 finalists will get to exhibit their work at BLOOOM’s event at Art.Fair l Fair in Cologne, with excellent individual prizes for the first three places. The overall winner will bag a trip to Art Basel Miami Beach, but more importantly, they will receive a year’s mentoring by one of the jury experts in their field. During that period the mentor will impart a wealth of knowledge, both in the creative sense and in terms of navigating the art market. Doors will open — it’s the stuff careers are made of! The submission deadline is 31 July. For more details on how to apply, and information on the ways the competition has changed the lives of previous winners, visit 2015 BLOOOM Award by WARSTEINER.
