Blanchette in Soho is run by brothers Maxime, Yannis and Malik Alary and named after their mother, which gives a good idea of the ethos of the place. Blanchette’s dining room, peppered with vintage and antique objet, marries a traditional candlelit restaurant feel with the comfort of a well-used French country kitchen. The bar is a more ornate affair thanks to the decorative tile murals. Malik is the founder of a sound design company, so bank on the music adding significantly to the experience.
