Swedish furniture designer and art director Camilla Ödmo wanted to create a worktable with an element of fun, eliminating the traditional ‘heavy and conservative’ entity — which usually serves to ‘underline the seriousness of work’. The result: Bordbord (Tabletable), a birch plywood surface (treated with linseed oil wax), and table legs (rather, stackable trestles) … both of which come in a variety of colours which can be mixed and matched to concoct your very own personalised plaything.
Designed and manufactured in Sweden, and with a number of interesting collaborations to boot, we can see why Ödmo’s charming creative counters are courting considerable curiosity. (Try saying that after a couple of shandies.)
