A physical store in Buenos Aires for clothing label Imán incorporates stainless steel and metals (a nod to its name, which means ‘magnet’ in English) alongside vibrant colours, prints, textures and shapes; all solidifying its branding under the premise of a conceptual and contemporary spatiality.
Conceived as a magnetic field, the aesthetics have been conceived by Buenos Aires-based Vang Studios and represent elements that attract one other: positive-negative, opposite poles. As such, the sleek space not only houses fashionable garments, but also serves as a dynamic and versatile stage for events or fashion shoots.
From the outside, the large ‘magnet’ is perceived suspended from the ceiling, and all other surfaces are subordinated to this concept. A cold atmosphere with metallic elements and a clear envelope serve as a support to create a force that attracts design-savvy passersby.
