Inspired by the Pacific Northwest, Vancouver restaurant and lounge Archer is an immersive culinary destination serving up modern Canadian cuisine in sleek surrounds.
Designed by architects and designers Little Giant — a studio with over 25 years of delivering world-class ideas, architecture and design projects, locally and across the globe — the project began by looking to the beauty and power of the Cascadia; an exuberant region known for its dramatic coastline, snow-capped mountains and lush forests, as well as its quirky and independent towns. With this breathtaking bioregion in mind, Little Green created a space that represents a chef’s voyage with mossy colour tones, natural textures, and atmospheric lighting as constants throughout.
Nodding to the vast, unpredictable, and wild western Canadian terrain, diners are whisked from busy Alberni Street into a downtown culinary hideaway where a journey through the coasts and waters of the Pacific Northwest awaits. Highlighting the bounty of the area’s farmers, fishermen, and producers while celebrating the diverse cultures and flavours of Canada, the food here is fresh, seasonal and packed full of flavour.
Enjoy smoked oysters, charred octopus and roasted scallops before indulging in a Pacific halibut, Brome Lake duck breast or Canadian tenderloin, and accompany it with a craft cocktail, natural wine or local beer; all of which harmoniously meld with the restaurant’s captivating interior design. At Archer Vancouver, diners can embark on a evening of discovery, where each bite, sip, and moment resonates with the essence of the Pacific Northwest and the diverse tapestry of Canadian cuisine.
