The 19th century country destination comprises 40 luxury and meticulously renovated accommodations, including 30 suites and 10 rooms, all set within the historic Villa and La Colonica; a 20th century building adjacent to the estate.
Designed by Spagnulo & Partners Architectural Studio, interiors pay homage to Umbria’s history with the use of vibrant colour palettes that are complemented by traditional architecture, as well as native materials harmoniously paired with contemporary furnishings.
Each design choice represents a harmonious blend of local craftsmanship utilising indigenous materials such as Etruscan terracotta from Montone and Sugaroni kiln, along with fabrics curated by Giuditta Brozzetti. The design studio also fostered a profound dialogue between Umbrian heritage, nature, and the vibrant hues of Renaissance art.
The estate boasts an unparalleled pool and spa experience amid the serene landscapes of rural Umbria. Guests can enjoy the outdoor infinity pool, which is set against lush greenery at the park entrance and offers a breathtaking panorama of the rolling hills surrounding the resort, or lounge in the poolside cabanas and chaise lounges for an idyllic retreat. The spa is housed in a building adjacent to the Villa, and provides a sanctuary for relaxation and rejuvenation.
Borgo dei Conti Resort presents two genuine culinary experiences, guests invited to indulge in the refined dining experience at Cedri, or opt for the more laid-back atmosphere of L’Osteria del Borgo. Located in the Villa, Cedri takes its name from the two Lebanese cedar trees at its entrance, and is inspired by its natural surroundings; sourcing many of its ingredients locally and directly from the property’s gardens. All-day trattoria, L’Osteria del Borgo, is a more casual affair serving traditional Mediterranean flavours and dishes with international pizzaz.
