Adults-only boutique hotel Rhin Garden is a 26-room sanctuary in the scenic Playa del Sardinero, Santander. A sustainable paradise where nature blends with luxury and comfort, the recently renovated spot is also home to a restaurant serving breakfast and local gastronomy, ample communal spaces, and a stunning terrace and garden complete with swimming pool.
Masters of refined luxury Sandra Tarruella Interioristas oversaw the architecture, interior design, and landscaping, all of which intertwines seamlessly throughout this impressive property, which is characterised by its white façade, dark woodwork, and zinc roof, creating a style that is equal parts classic and urban.
Blanca Comin and Javier Ubago led the execution of the interior spaces, the studio’s project leads having infused each space with their unique vision and inspirations including touches such as neutral tones complemented by exposed wooden beams and walnut furnishings, a painting by Carla Tarruella in a deep deer green, and a linen sofa inspired by the 1950s. Timeless upholstery and strategically placed mirrors reflect the garden, emphasising the significance of outdoor views while creating a warm, inviting atmosphere, whilst the garden itself features concrete slab flooring enriched with abundant native vegetation that blurs the pathways.
Guest rooms combine a sustainable mentality with advanced technology. Inviting spaces to disconnect, they boast custom-designed, co-sustainable furnishings by Sandra Tarruella Interioristas and natural organic fabrics, whilst photography from Elena López Lamadrid continues the visual and thematic connection to the outdoor environment.
Just steps away from the beach and offering an authentic Spanish experience infused with a contemporary twist, Hotel Rhin Garden is a place where disconnection and relaxation merge effortlessly with a modern luxury experience.
