Located within London‘s Westfield Stratford City, decidedly decadent diner Super Club Roma serves up Roman-style pizzas (complete with their crispy and charred crusts) and fritti including lasagne, spaghetti and nduja bombs; the simple menu allowing the team to keep things tight and do things right.
Designed by 3Stories, the team looked to the avant-garde Radical Design Movement and the nostalgic energy of 1980s Italo Disco for their show-stopping inspiration. As a result, guests can expect a playful environment where a kaleidoscope of pattern, vivid colours, and diverse textures come together to create a visual rhythm that is both contemporary and retro, offering a sensory-rich environment that is as engaging as the food itself.
An open kitchen and bar was chosen to optimise interaction between diners and employees, whilst seating options vary from high communal tables with clear acrylic stools to cozy booths which accept both larger social gatherings and intimate dining experiences. Keeping on trend with the extravagance of the interiors, sounds are inspired by the decadence of ’80s Italo Disco with the soundscape of Super Club Roma designed to enhance the vibrancy of the restaurant and transport guests to a different era while keeping them grounded in the present.
Also in charge of brand development, 3Stories created a dynamic composition of multiple identities, giving the impression of an establishment that has evolved over time. This layered approach to branding reflects the playful and eclectic nature of the restaurant, offering guests a sense of discovery with every visit.
Go for the food and stay for the tunes, Super Club Roma is a physical embodiment of the essence of Italy’s radical 1980s. A beacon of wanton outlandishness in an otherwise commercial setting, this is an ode to offbeat style with vibes by the bucketload.
