The highly anticipated private members club, The Wilde Milan, has opened in the Italian city, the 20,000 square foot villa located at Via Dei Giardini 16, and billed as venue for “the curious and open-minded to meet and create, paired with exceptional hospitality.”
Bringing together some of the hospitality industry’s most renowned names, at the helm of The Wilde is Gary Landesberg, former executive chairman and shareholder of The Arts Club. Ben Pundole, best known for his role in developing Ian Schrager’s luxury lifestyle hotel brand, EDITION, and founder of travel platform, A Hotel Life, has the role of chief brand and marketing officer, whilst Alice Chadwyck-Healey, known for her extensive experience working with private members concepts such as Annabel’s, Mark’s Club and Harry’s Bar, joins the team as chief commercial officer. The Wilde’s CEO has been announced to be veteran luxury hotel manager, Marco Olivieri. Quite the team.
With three dining concepts, a secluded garden and rooftop, library, cigar lounge, as well as world-class cultural programming, entertainment and events, this is a next-generation members’ club set to inspire a truly global community. Located in the creative Brera district, The Wilde’s modernist villa was designed in 1954 by architects Carlo De Carli and Antonio Carminati, and was once the home of Santo Versace. Inspired by its history, Italian designer Fabrizio Casiraghi created a space with surprising contrasts, maintaining the perfect balance between lyricism and Milanese sophistication, and fashioning individual identities for each of the areas within the club.
