Sir Prague

Another nobleman is added to the Sircle Collection, as Sir Prague embraces both its city's past and its cultural present...

A striking new addition to Prague’s culturally minded hospitality scene, Sir Prague opens its doors inside a meticulously restored neo-Renaissance building dating back to 1884. The latest venture from Sir Hotels, this sophisticated stay blends grandeur and contemporary design, offering guests an immersive experience deeply rooted in the city’s artistic and architectural heritage.

Award-winning designer Linda Boronkay has reimagined the interiors with an eclectic mix of influences: Gothic drama, Cubist precision, and Art Nouveau elegance all coming together in a bold space. Think sculptural lighting, intricate ironwork, and hand-embroidered textiles, all celebrating Prague’s craftsmanship while nodding to the unexpected. “Prague’s beauty lies in its contrasts- history and modernity, grandeur and intimacy,” Boronkay explains. “With Sir Prague, I wanted to create a space that captures this duality, evoking both nostalgia and discovery.”

The 76 rooms and suites here are a testament to this vision, featuring vintage Czech furnishings, custom pieces by local artisans, and a curated selection of contemporary Czech art. As much a cultural hub as a place to bed for the night, guests can retire to the multifunctional library, an inviting space designed for contemplation and conversation, or unwind in the peaceful outdoor courtyard, a hidden oasis in the heart of the city.

Sir Prague will soon welcome the much-anticipated arrival of Seven North, the acclaimed Mediterranean-inspired restaurant by chef Eyal Shani. Known for bold flavours and seasonal ingredients, the restaurant will bring an experience that matches the hotel’s artistic energy.

Located near the iconic Dancing House and the Vltava River, Sir Prague is the new destination in the Czech Republic’s capital, a place for design lovers and culture vultures seeking a hotel that doesn’t just reflect the city’s past but is here to make an indelible mark on its present.
