Setting up in Helsinki in 2007, Agent Pekka is an award-winning creative consultancy and artist management agency – the only of its kind in Finland. When it came to launching their first continental Europe office, the Dutch capital – famed for its creative spirit – was a natural choice; “The interesting mix of international and local advertising agencies, the presence of strong global brands and the appreciation the Dutch have for good design, are all reasons why we chose Amsterdam as the city for our first office abroad”, says co-founder Pablo Steffa. And, as they set to open its doors for the first time in just a few days, they’re celebrating with a 25-artist-strong exhibition at the city’s Guns & Butter Gallery.
PEKKA IS HERE will feature works from artists like Miika Saksi, Rami Niemi, Mike Perry and Ville Savimaa – and, as you can see below, this is optic-nerve-crippling stuff.
The launch takes place 4th May, from then the show will be open to view Saturday 5th May 12pm – 6pm, and Thursday 10th May through Saturday 12th May 12pm – 6pm.
