Aussie fashion label Kloke has opened the doors on their flagship store in Fitzroy, Melbourne, showing the clean lines and attention to detail that characterises the firm’s clothing. Design studio Sibling got the ruler out for this interior, dividing the shop area into an invisible grid on which everything was aligned. Display units rise from the floor and stairs rise to the ceiling, all positioned with perfect mathematical precision, and the layout can be easily reconfigured along the same principle grid as required.

Anti-clutter was the order of the day. Windows were left undressed to let in light which bounces off a mirrored rear wall. White walls with lightly sculpted archways, concrete and limed floorboards keep things coasting along in neutral, while highlights are provided by the bespoke copper display rails, fashioned from single lengths of piping, which chime nicely with the pale ash wood. Lush hanging baskets are a breath of fresh air and add a bit of deep colour.
