By golly, someone in the PR department has been on the Berocca here. Forge & Co is apparently “a purpose built, fully serviced creative ecosystem” in London’s hybrid business and culture epicentre Shoreditch. And who are we to argue? It certainly seems to have a lot of bases covered in bringing together a brasserie, lounge, bar, office space and even a gallery.
Entrepreneurs Cymon Eckel and Lalit Maria identified a need for flexible working options in the capital, and Forge & Co is their solution. Spread over four floors of a 1950s modernist building, it’s the perfect fit for those wanting somewhere to work in the short or longer term as it combines the functionality of an office through meeting spaces and hot desks with dining and leisure areas, making it ideal for making connections as well as getting things done – and all minus the usual overheads of office rental. The top two floors are dedicated to the business side of things, while the ground floor is home to The Canteen and The Lounge, which welcomes DJs at the weekend. Downstairs is a gallery space hosting talks, workshops and events relating to the creative and technology industries.
