Danish restaurant group Sticks’n’Sushi have set up shop in Covent Garden, and Swiss designers Diener & Diener have fused Danish design elements with local influences in creating the restaurant’s interior, spread over two floors. The long seagrass-coloured bar acts as a spine through the dining space, with unusual tri-corner tables and sturdy oak counters among the other pleasing features. As the name suggests, traditional sushi and made-to-order yakatori sticks from the grill are what this place is all about, and there are some innovative Asian takes on classic cocktails such as the Shohito (made with Japanese Shochu).
