Fieldwork, are a consultancy who work by way of ethnographic research: “shedding new light on old habits, cultural things that have become ingrained and no longer serve you, things that are invisible because you pass them everyday, and things that are automatic”. The London-based agency recently commissioned Baines&Fricker to design a research lab of sorts.
Starting the ball rolling by swapping photos of field desks found online, the Brighton-based duo built a custom flightcase and workstation; a platform from which to carry out exercises as part of their consultancy. Easy to transport, with handy rollers, the flightcase doubles as a sturdy base for the neat ‘lab’ inside. The burning question: do we have to sign up for a consultation to get our hands on one?
