A verb that is much less cool that its broken down counterpart — which essentially spells out what is happening here … objects. The 139 relates to Candanoza’s address on Essex St. Breaking it down further, the objects come in the shape of fashion accessories; tees; art prints; books and magazines. Every last bit of it curated to a tee.
There’s no fucking around with the crisp and cool interiors, that also double as a backdrop for meetings and events within the local artist community — all is incisive, clinically executed and entirely engaging. Maria Candanoza’s meticulous curation follows suit. Clean.
