The London EDITION is well known for lasting comfort and extraordinary style — two elements that, thanks to a collaboration with nearby independent bicycle company tokyobike, will be taken outside the walls of Ian Schrager’s decadent bolthole and onto the city’s streets.
Designing a set of wheels for the Fitzroy set and guests of the hotel, the custom-built EDITION bikes are a luxury version of tokyobike’s male and female sports model; a matte-black frame with a brushed-brass signature EDITION ‘O’ logo, leather saddle and grips. A leather-wrapped lock and luxury helmet complete the affluent aesthetic.
What’s more, EDITION have teamed up with Bay Garnett (Vogue’s contributing fashion editor) and creative production agency Arts Co to produce two maps highlighting some of London’s best vintage shops and secret spots, along with a route of unmissable public art — from sculptures to murals and LED installations — in the local area. Designed by Charlotte Trounce, they’re simply illustrated with cute iconography and an easily read layout.
