Their spaces being the unofficial workplaces of digital nomads since the brand introduced an open-door lobby policy with the opening of the Shoreditch debut back in 2006, Working From_ has been created with over a decade of insights and tried-and-tested methods. Taking all of this invaluable data into consideration, the venue offers ‘modern and flexible ways of working’, coupled with ‘home-like spaces to work and meet, stress-free policies and the hospitality know-how of The Hoxton’; giving its members the freedom to work as, when, and how they want.
Designed by Ennismore Design Studio, Working From_Southwark features everything from cosy corners to vibrant communal spaces with armchairs and custom-designed daybeds. Library desks are drenched in natural light, and ample greenery adds a garden-like feel to the large spaces. Daily classes take place at the wellness studio and afterwards members can enjoy healthy fare and as much £2 barista coffee as they can drink; The Hoxton‘s renowned hospitality in full flow.
Rates start from £30 for a day pass, whilst £200 per month will get you a desk hop membership. ‘Open Studio’ and ‘Private Studio’ are better suited to those who need a permanent desk or private office whilst those who work better in the evening can take advantage of ‘Side Hustler’—a £75 per month option that offers access after 5:30pm on weekdays and all weekend.
More than just a shared workspace, members—like with The Hoxton—will receive a ruck of worthwhile benefits including ‘mate’s rates’ for The Hoxton’s bedrooms and restaurants; free guest passes; a help-yourself pantry full of snacks; stationary cupboard filled with all the pens you could need; unlimited meeting room access and printing; showers; bike storage; a members’ café; and … if we’ve said it once before, we’ll say it again … £2 barista coffee to fuel those next big ideas.
