Housed in a lovingly restored 1924 modernist Spanish property in Valencia‘s Ruzafa neighbourhood, La Novieta is an adults-only hotel with just four ensuite guest rooms.
The brainchild of Bertrand and Fabien — who double as proprietors of both the hotel and interior design agency Maisons BoEM — the vision for the boutique hotel was to create a beacon of retro-chic elegance in the city, having woven a captivating narrative that marries timeless design with the soul of the original architecture.
Following its refurb, the modernist house blends splendour and elegance with contemporary touches. A sanctuary of design, La Novieta Hotel is home to an exciting selection of 19th-century art pieces and furniture from the 1920s to the 1970s including Gasisa chairs and vintage Tito Agnoli armchairsm, as well as pieces from Matthieu Paley, Darya Yartzeva and Marina Abramović.
